As one of a number of sector-focused campaigns for our client Goodfellow, Materials Hub is an educational platform which aims to attract scientists, designers and engineers in order to inspire their next R&D project. The engaging digital platform allows users from a range of sectors to explore, evaluate and share materials information.

CHALLENGE

Goodfellow enlisted our B2B marketing expertise for a full marketing campaign, including the build of an educational website, email campaigns, press releases, social content and the production of a stand-alone app. With an objective of breaking the boundaries, rather than a commercially led site the aim was to create an engaging educational website that can provide users the opportunity to create new innovative ideas.

OUR SOLUTION

In the course of the campaign, the Materials Hub has expanded from an initial start-up of 100 materials to more than 300. The designer spotlight section has opened up the opportunity for designers and artists to share examples of their work involving Goodfellow’s materials which has created an interactive conversation across social platforms. The app has helped to showcase the many properties, dimensions and technical characteristics of the materials and has allowed users to become part of an online community that enables ideas to become a reality.
